Hello and Welcome to Life Temple & Seminary of Charlotte

  We are a Wiccan temple located in North West Charlotte in North Carolina; serving Gastonia, Charlotte, Huntersville, Lowell, Mt. Holly, Belmont and the surrounding areas.

At Life Temple we practice, honor and live traditional Crafte. We are an active temple that gathers for all major and minor Sabbats as well as monthly Full Moon rituals. We are a federally recognized, non-profit (501-c3) religious institution that also teaches the ways of the Old Religion.

We do not believe our way is “the right way”, only that it is a way and it will be right for some, but not all.

 Our primary purpose is spiritual and emotional growth through our path and we offer the same for all who are willing. We do not discriminate based on age, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, race, economic circumstance, or physical disabilities.

Please note that we are a group of everyday people with jobs and families. We are not here to stand-out or offend others. Wicca to us is not a trend nor a fashion statement meant for shock-value. It is our religion. And it as an old, time honored tradition. It is not a new belief system nor is it influenced or based in any way on movies, TV shows or other pop-culture movements.

To our members, Wicca is a personal experience and we do not flaunt our beliefs at the expense of others. As with many other traditional groups of our faith - this is the main reason why we are Temple and do not refer to ourselves as a Witch coven. The word coven simply has too many negative associations. However the words coven, temple and church all mean the same thing.  

This website is intended to serve as an educational tool and resource center for North Carolina residents and those interested in learning more about Wicca. It is also a resource for our members.
